TORUS-SN power calculator¶
Interactive energy budget for the TORUS-SN sensor node across LoRa airtime, sensor duty cycle and vector-math load. The model covers the current baseline: STM32U575 host with the gated iCE40 vector-math unit, LR1120 radio, T5848 microphones with acoustic activity detect, and ADS1220 geophone ADC.
Planning model, not a guaranteed specification
Average-energy estimate, not a peak-current or inrush calculation. Endurance and capacitor figures remain planning-model outputs until the bench measurements in SN datasheet gate 8.2 close.

Converts regulated-rail loads to battery current. Converter IQ, gauge current, and capacitor leakage are already cell-side.
Average-energy estimate, not a peak-current or inrush calculation. Datasheet typical currents exclude application-specific GPIO and peripheral loading; validate the final firmware and hardware on the bench.
